How We Ensure Ethical Practices

Certified Suppliers

Our fabric supplier in Turkey is Sedex-certified, meaning they uphold ethical labor standards, including fair wages, safe working conditions, and a firm stance against child labor.

Fair Treatment for Tailors

Our manufacturing partner in Ecuador works with independent tailors, ensuring they are paid at market rates while maintaining reasonable working hours. In Ecuador, sustainability and ethical labor certifications are not yet widely adopted, often due to financial barriers. However, what matters most to us is action, not just paperwork. Our supplier treats these tailors like family, fostering a safe and respectful working relationship that extends over the years.

Empowering Indigenous Craftsmanship

Our patterned textiles are sourced from an indigenous-run, family-owned business in Otavalo, Ecuador. By working directly with them, we help preserve Andean indigenous textile traditions while ensuring fair compensation at the source. We are proud to say that our supplier of textiles works only with made in Ecuador raw materials e.g. thread. Therefore, boosting the development of the local industry. Our goal is to expand our collections to showcase a variety of traditional techniques and designs, celebrating Ecuador’s rich cultural heritage.
